What is She Loves Golf?
There are She Loves Golf events, promotions and offers in clubs and driving ranges throughout the country, all tailored especially for women. She Loves Golf is about letting women know that golf isn’t the stuffy and elitist sport that it is often stereotyped as. It’s an ageless sport, with so many ways to play, you can be active and hang out with your friends at the same time, you can wear your gym gear on the green, play as many holes as you like and choose not to keep score.
We regularly runs events at Omaha Beach Golf Club and Warkworth Golf Club including She Loves Golf Beginner and Intermediate Programmes, Chip and Sip events and more!!
She Loves Golf Beginner Classes
These classes are designed for women new to golf who want to learn the basics and learn with friends. No experience or clubs required, simply come along and join in the fun. Our coaches will teach you the basics of putting, chipping, full swing and Driver- enough to get you started.
She Loves Golf Intermediate Classes
Have you learned the basics and started to think about venturing onto the golf course? These classes will start to look at some of the skills required to get you out on the course, scoring and gaining a handicap. Recommended for players who have been on the course a few times and have completed the beginner course and/or have taken some private lessons.
Chip and Sip Events
Venturing out onto the golf course can be intimidating at first. These events are designed to make you feel more at ease heading onto the golf course with a group of like minded players all at a similar stage in their golf. The events are Team Ambrose events- you can enter with a team of up to 4 players, as a pair or on your own and we will build a team for you.
How it works:
Everyone hits their tee shot. As a team, select the best shot, collect your ball and take it to the 'best ball’.
From there, everyone hits again.
Select the best shot.
Do this until one person gets the ball in the hole.
Head to the next hole and repeat!!
We use ‘It’s OK’ rules- this is about learning and gaining experience so play your way!!!
